The Best Hotels Europe

Accommodation in this beautiful old city is relatively cheaper than in many other cities, so there is more choice of affordable hotels in the city center.
A large part of the city center is UNESCO World Heritage site, because of its rich history and buildings from the Middle Ages.
On the east side of the Vltava River is Staré Mesto (old Town), a historic neighborhood with beautiful squares, cobbled streets, the Astronomical Clock and the Jewish Quarter (Josefov).
If you cross the Charles Bridge, the 650-year-old stone bridge that spans 500 meters over the Vltava River, you enter the Mala Strana district. In Mala Strana small old streets run up from the Charles Bridge to the Prague Castle (Hradčany district). The baroque palaces, colorful houses and the John Lennon wall make this a nice area to stay.
Outside these popular neighborhoods, there are plenty of nice places to stay in Prague. For example, south of Staré Mesto you have the so-called New Town, a neighborhood with fewer tourists and where you can experience the local atmosphere. In the artistic Holešovice district there are many cultural activities in old warehouses and factories and in the trendy Žižkov & Vinohrady area’s you’ll find many entertainment venues.
